Daniel’s deepest love is leading mens’ groups and has clocked thousands of hours of leading experience since he began in 2003. He has led groups with Vietnam and Iraq war veterans, substance abuse groups, adolescent groups as well as groups for more-higher functioning males. He is known for his unique integration of fierce directness and highly trained ‘bullshit’ detector combined with a gentle loving authenticity that inspires trust and safety in the group.  Through experiential exercises, group process, giving and receiving of genuine feedback, support and challenge, you will build a structure of brotherhood that will inspire the awakened masculine within you.

Daniel has been coaching teenage men and their families regularly since 2002. He works experientially with young men who struggle with typical issues facing men in these age groups. He helps clients navigate issues including: – challenges relating to parents/siblings, girlfriend and friends; substance abuse issues, school related issues, diet/exercise/nutrition, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and emotional issues such as anger, shame, anxiety and depression.

As a former confused, anxious teenage himself, he knows well what it’s like for teenage men to be having a hard time with life and not have someone who they feel they can talk openly with. Teenage is a confusing time in which we are trying to grow up an be a man yet are still bound by rules and regulations and responsibilities we don’t always like. Daniel quickly creates trust and safety through sharing authentically from his own life journey, offering immediate and complete acceptance of the client as they are, and modeling authenticity through direct honest feedback and challenge.

He helps the client explore what’s uniquely important to them in the realms including school, hobbies/sports and careers and offers guidance how to create the life they want. He teaches tools on how to tackle difficult emotions, create healthy relationships and communicate effectively.
